It would be a real shame if that dog pulled the hood ornament off.
Probably not enough power. Rottweiler, that ornament is ancient history.

I wouldn't even think of tying something like a Rottweiler to something that isn't solidly built into the ground.

And then the driver gets in while talking on her cell phone and forgets the do is attached to the front of the car...

LOL
The funny thing is that these little guys produce a TON of torque. They are like Golf TDIs. They may not look like they have a lot of grunt but they do.
My dog is only half Frenchie and he's insanely strong for his size. He wrestles hard with my friend's full grown lab.

Haha, my Rottie is like a Mustang Gt500. Too many people are scared of it, but inside that dog won't hurt anybody.

Haha so true! I forgot to mention I used to have a Rottie too. We got her when I was still in high school.
She was old when I got my half Frenchie puppy. I'd bring my dog to my Dad's house and watching them interact was funny.
He would try to play with her but she was too old to enjoy it. She would growl and bark and try to look mean to get him to leave her alone but he knew she was bluffing! So he would keep bugging her for hours on end. She never even scratched him. All bark and no bite

Haha, It's a great breed. Good jogging partner also. He never barks though, Gf, and friends are still somewhat scared of him, he's too friendly Haha.

that is definitely a good thing!
from what i've heard most rotties are really good at not attacking family members and guests. they know the difference between a stranger and someone who is at the house invited

Nailed it! He can tell between family, from strangers. He was already trained, but will always be a bit of a softie.

I considered a Doberman, Malanois or a Pitbull. The Doberman would be too big, Pitbulls was absolutely vicious, couldn't find any that weren't haha. Then I found a rather tame partially trained Rottie, and had to make it mine.

Pitbulls are mixed. Some are so nice and gentle. Others are mean. I think it depends on how they are raised.
That's interesting that you thought the Doberman was too big. Some of them are smaller than Rotties. The biggest male Rottie I've ever seen was bigger than the biggest male Doberman I ever saw.

The only Doberman I found was fully grown at the time, in general and fairly large compared to a buddies. Rotties in general seem to be slightly bigger, mine is just the right size. It's a shame that too many of them aren't bred right and end up with weak bones.
Yeah, some Pitbulls are abused it seems, that's why there are so many stories in the news about the police having to put then down.

It is a bummer that so many dogs aren't bred right or are abused! Poor things

Yeah, I feel bad about dogs that are abused and not bread correctly.
